A very special thank you to everyone who helped us make Maritime Security 2013 East in St. Pete, FL a huge success. Despite all of the challenges that sequestration created for everyone involved, we were still able to bring together almost 200 stakeholders to keep driving maritime security forward. HOMELAND SECURITY OUTLOOK AND SCRA ANNOUNCE LAUNCH OF CS4NS CONFERENCE

On May 21, 2013, Homeland Security Outlook (HSO) and SCRA Applied R&D announce the launch of the first southeast regional CS4NS Conference. CS4NS, an acronym for Cyber Security for National Security, will be a groundbreaking event designed to address the practicality of cyber infrastructure for local/state governments and small to midsized companies. MARITIME SECURITY 2013 WEST CONFERENCE RELOCATED TO LONG BEACH, CA

 

On May 1, 2013, Homeland Security Outlook (HSO) announced that Maritime Security 2013 West has been relocated to Long Beach, CA on August 19-21, 2013. Maritime Security 2013 West will no longer be in San Diego, CA from August 26-28, 2013.  Click on the title to read the full article


St. Petersburg Hosts Maritime Security Conference: Tanker or Kayaker, Security Affects You! (Defense Media Network)

Maritime Security 2013 East, held April 15-17 in St. Petersburg, Fla., took for its theme “technologies and strategies to mitigate security threats in the maritime domain.” The maritime security conference brought together representatives of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), port authorities, law enforcement and equipment providers to discuss situational awareness, communications, networks, information sharing infrastructure protection.  Click on the title to read the full article
